Tony Panetta- Our Executive Chef
Having a passion for cooking at a very early age, Tony cannot remember life without a knife in one hand and a spoon in the
other. He has vivid memories of growing up in a small quiet country town where keeping himself amused was just a part of
life. He spent as much time as he could experimenting in the family kitchen and has very fond memories of helping prepare
Sunday lunch for the extended family.
It was not too long after his 16th birthday that Tony realised life for a chef was much better suited to a big city,
which prompted him to move to Melbourne. It was in Melbourne that he finished his education, and where he began his career.
Arriving at Aitken Hill 6 years ago, Tony's capabilities were recognised and nurtured. As a result of his talent, he
has recently been promoted to Executive Chef. Rare to his title, Tony has an incredible capability of cooking exceptional
food, whilst keeping himself grounded and respected by his staff.
